Nagsimula na akong magdala ng baon this week. Naisip kong makakatipid din ako kahit papaano kung magbabaon na lang ako instead na bumili pa ng food sa nagbebenta rito sa amin.

Stuck in an Imaginary World

Naaalala ko yung one time na nanood kami ng National Treasure 2. The company sponsored the movie night, and right after watching it, we were so amazed when April told me something like, “it would be better if it was a book”. Noong una medyo hindi ko pa gets, and then she told me about how things would look great if you were reading it instead of watching it. Though naiintindihan ko na kung bakit niya nasabi iyon, medyo blur pa rin yung idea sa akin. Bakit naging better ang pagbabasa kaysa panonood?

Present or Future?

Someone from an insurance company explained to me some stuffs about investments and all that last Thursday. When I saw the estimated figures that I would be earning when I reached 30, I thought, ‘hey, this is interesting’. I may be shooting two birds with one stone: having a life insurance and at the same time, an investment. But then again, I’ve realized something.

Profile Picture

Kapag tumitingin ako sa mga pictures at/o videos ko, I realized one thing: I hate myself. Kapag nakikita ko ang itsura ko sa mga pictures at video, doon ko nasasabi sa sarili ko na “I should be the one taking pictures, and not the one being taken pictures of”. Either hindi ako photogenic, or hindi ako camwhore. Pero most likely, hindi ako photogenic.

Be Careful.

Bihira lang talaga akong sumakay ng taxi. Hindi dahil sa kuripot ako or something (come to think of it, yeah, isa yun sa mga dahilan), pero dahil sobrang na-generalize ko na na lahat ng taxi driver e gagawin ang lahat para kumita and all. Please don’t get me wrong, alam naman natin na may mga taxi drivers na nagsasauli ng malalaking pera na naiwan sa sasakyan nila, pero they’re just needles in a haystack. The spectrum of taxi driver stereotypes go like this: criminal » bad » indifferent » concerned citizen » hero. So far mas marami ang mga nabibilang sa indifferent pababa.
